It made our trip to Matera an amazing experience. This place was stylish in general with a very very helpful and efficient staff team. The location of the hotel was very special and unbeatable - at a walking distance from Church of San Pietro Caveoso.

Great services were available. I've been here for 1 night, the breakfast was good with salty options. All of the staff was EXCELLENT and superfriendly. The property was in the heart of the city.

the rooms were spotless and huge as for me, with the terrace. the location was incredible - next to restaurants and amenities, and the piazza del sedile.

My partner and I spent a magical couple of days in this hotel, nestled in the heart of the Sassi in a beautiful cave room. There was no street noise at all, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved having breakfast in the terrace each morning, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The location was perfect, right near the castle and within easy walking distance to everything.

We stayed at a fantastic place in Matera called the Cave Suite. The location was perfect for exploring the city and the staff were extremely helpful, even going above and beyond to help us retrieve lost items. The Cave Suite itself was spacious and had every little detail taken care of. We were even treated to a cinema room in the suite! The host was very responsive and allowed us to check-in early. it was a truly special experience and I would highly recommend Antica to anyone visiting Matera.

It was a unique experience staying in a cave for a couple of days, adding to the authenticity and charm of our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a terrace with stunning views. We particularly loved the jacuzzi in our suite, a luxurious touch that added to the overall experience. Lastly, the breakfast provided a good variety of options to start the day off right.

The suites were spacious and well-designed, with unique architecture that added to the overall charm of the stay. Plus, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Parking was a bit of a hassle and we received a parking ticket even though the hotel staff had recommended a spot. the rooms were a bit damp, but considering they were built into the natural environment, it was to be expected.
